About
Ignite Church is part of Elim Pentecostal Churches UK. We began meeting in Shepshed, Leicestershire in September 2022 in the living room of Pete and Sarah Benest, but quickly outgrew it, and we now meet at Bethesda Baptist Chapel at the entrance to the Iveshead School. We are a small community, but we've been given a mighty commission by God! We are on an adventure together, to spread the good news of Jesus in the midst of our post-Christian culture. Our mission is to learn how to let the light and hope of the Kingdom of God shine through our lives, bringing hope, salvation and transformation to people in our local community, right across Charnwood and beyond.

Easter Egg Hunt
Follow the trail around the park to find 9 stations (marked with an egg). Listen to the Easter story unfold as you go, and collect 9 letters to make an Easter phrase. Once you've worked out the phrase you can collect your Easter prize from the gazebo.

We'd Love You to Join Us!​​​​
Our Sunday services are held at the Bethesda Chapel, Forest St, Shepshed, LE12 9DA. ​
We start at 10:30am with coffee/tea and pastries. Once the service gets going it usually includes a time of worship, prayer, communion, teaching, and often a chance to discuss what we are learning together.​
We are a friendly, informal bunch, so come as you are and wear what you like!

Mid-Week at Ignite
We have recently launched two new mid-week Life Groups that meet at 7:30-9:30pm on either a Wednesday or Tuesday evening every other week. We also hold a monthly whole-church prayer meeting and a ladies mid-week group called "Just Say the Word". These small gatherings are a great opportunity to build friendships, disciple one another, and to learn and grow in our faith in Jesus together.
